I Get the Music in You
Written by Queenie van de Zandt and Tony Taylor
With Queenie van de Zandt

Director Craig Ilott

Musical Director Peter J. Casey

"Good Evening and welcome. My name is Jan van de Stool and I am the music
therapist and I am going to get the music in you - whether you like it or
not! But who is Jan van de Stool? Well I am many things. I am a composer,
an interpretive dancer, a singing psychologist and also a therapeutic
musical masseuse....

Anthony Robbins, Deepak Chopra and now New Age music therapist Jan van de
Stool.

Close your eyes, open your mind and prepare to 'get the music in you' with
this wickedly funny satire of the world of singing workshops and music
therapy as taught by Jan Van der Stool, the outrageous and comic creation
of Queenie van de Zandt and Tony Taylor. Have your shakra cleansed, learn
about musical mantras and discover how interpretative dancing can help you.

Helpmann Award nominee Queenie van de Zandt has a string of credits
including CABARET, LES MISERABLES and the original Australian production of
THE BOY FROM OZ. Her co-writer Tony Taylor was a co-creator for a number
of shows at the Tilbury and was most recently seen in THE PRODUCERS

Switching at lightning speed between the despot of the singing workshop,
Van der stool and her students, big-voiced comedienne van de Zandt creates a
cavalcade of characters who will get the music in you.

'Has her audiences rolling in the aisles ... You shouldn't miss it.' The
Sunday Telegraph

'Effortless character changes ... A constant stream of laughs.' The Sydney
Morning Herald
