[Showtuners] HEDWIG is a HIT! in BRIS-VEGAS

Dear Showtuners,

 

Hedwig opened at QPAC last Friday to a standing ovation and sensational
reviews, MICHAEL FALZON has taken the role in both hands and made it his own
he is really something.  There is a level of stillness in his acting that
just enlightens the sensitivity of this most strange and exotic character.
To have that amazing voice on those songs also is an absolute joy, I am very
very proud of this NEW version of HEDWIG.  Lucinda Shaw is just stunning in
her portrayal of Yitzhak, bringing to that role a voice of gold and velvet,
and an acting presence that captivates and intrigues the audience.  The
electric bond between Michael and Lucinda from their history of performing
with each other adds a element to the tension that is unique and diverse.

The show is then touring to KARNAK in Mossman for ONE SHOW ONLY on the 8th
November, and then to The Avoca Picture Theatre on the 14 and 15 November
before rocking into Sydney for ONE SHOW ONLY on the 18 November at THE METRO
THEATRE tickets for Sydney are selling fast so if you want to catch the
special performance so Sydney can see Michael please hurry, I released a
further allocation of seats to the Metro but they will go fast.
