Dear Showtuners, 

Well Hedwig and the Angry Inch is in its final week of production in Katoomba, we have transformed The Clarendon into the perfect launching pad for this awesome electric ROCK show!  The show starts it's out of town try out from 7th July to 28 July and if you like intimate theatre this will tickle your taste buds totally, Hedwig is so close you could touch him.  

The show then moves to the very appropriate venue to have its official Australian opening at @NEWTOWN on 11 August 2006.  

Do not miss this amazing show that has taken the world by storm, "Give us an INCH and we'll take you a MILE".

Also an act that I have seen a few times in Melbourne and just love Martin Martini and the Bone Palace Orchestra are coming to Sydney to play The Studio at Sydney Opera House on 1 July, this is so worth catching.  Martin is a wonderful talent that is etching himself a strong position as one of our most exciting new writers and performers, Virginia at the Studio has thank fully booked this mad crew and given them a spot at The Studio. Just another tale of gummi bears, flying tomatoes, a botched penectomy and the Platonic notion that sex is the human effort to reconnect two halves of our original whole.

In the title role of Hedwig is six times ARIA-nominated Australian indi rock icon iOTA making his theatrical debut.  And direct from starring with The Bell Shakespeare Company is BLAZEY BEST as Hedwig's suppressed side-kick Yitzak.  The creative team is just as exciting with CRAIG ILOTT (Belvoir, Old Fitz) as director, TINA HARRIS (Rocky Horror, Rent, Fame) as musical director, ROSS COLEMAN (Dusty, Chicago, Shout!) as choreographer, design by NICK DARE with ROSE JACKSON as costume consultant, and lighting design by STEPHEN HAWKER.
