Dear Showtuners, 

 

As if it was not enough bringing the awesome talents of Ezekiel Ox to our
production of HEDWIG and the ANGRY INCH, but we now add the remarkable
talents of one of Australia's leading choreographers KELLEY ABBEY to assist
Mr Ox embody our Deutsch Diva in full swing.

 

Kelly will be familiar to you all with her work on stage and in choreography
on the screen, stage and TV. She has choreographed many major musicals and
productions and she is excited to be working on  HEDWIG very much, we are
very lucky she is available and looking forward to working with her very
much.

 

And in the role of YITZAK we proudly announce LUCINDA SHAW, most recently
Lucinda played the role of the Lady of the Lake in SPAMALOT to sensational
reviews.  Lucinda saw HEDWIG twice in the former seasons and our resident
choreographer mentioned to me a few times about her talent, I watched her
with a Hawks eye after that and when the opportunity came up to re-cast
YITZAK for this NEW production she was my first choice.  

 

It is such a wonderful thing to be bringing new wonderful energy into the
HEDWIG family, and I hope you will all come and see us in Sydney before we
finally take HEDWIG around Australia.
